What are the questions you can ask someone when you meet them for the first time?

1. Are you married?

2. What  is your name / surname / nationality / address / telephone number / postcode?

Where are you from?

How old are you?

Here we have two different types of questions

1. Questions that require the answer yes / no
2. Questions that require more information in the answer

For type 1. we just invert the subject and the verb.

You are married - affirmative
Are you married - question

Remember to repeat the verb in the answer

Yes I am

No I am not

For type 2. add the question word first

Where are you from?
